Authorized baggage: Weight, size, and baggage allowance

There are two storage spaces available for your baggage: The compartment above your seat is for hand baggage and the space under the seat in front of you is for your small bag. Size, weight, and baggage allowance... Discover the transport conditions for baggage allowed in the cabin.

This information is for reference only and applies only to flights operated by Air France. Is your direct or connecting flight operated by one of our airline partners? We invite you to refer to the airline's website directly, as baggage allowance may differ. If baggage allowance changes from one segment of your booking to another, we recommend that you follow the strictest guidelines.

Additional items you may take on board...

The following items are not considered to be baggage or personal items, and can be transported in the cabin: - Jacket, coat, or any other item of clothing you may be wearing - Umbrella - 1 bag of duty-free items purchased on board or at the airport - Children's accessories including strollers*, car seats, diaper bags (please visit our Families and children page) * Depending on available space on board. Hand baggage dimensions

The maximum dimensions for your hand baggage are 55 x 35 x 25 cm (21.7 x 13.8 x 9.9 in.), including pockets, wheels, and handles. You must store this bag in the overhead compartment above your seat. Not sure if your hand baggage meets these size requirements? Air France provides various tools to check baggage dimensions at the airport, baggage drop-off areas, and check-in counters. Baggage checks will be conducted before boarding. If your hand baggage exceeds the allowed dimensions, you will be required to check it into the hold, which may result in additional fees.
